10th wedding anniversary and Christmas are so close I can taste them. Shifts left till the end of this debacle are in the single digits.

As a matter of an introduction

Hello, world.

This blog of mine has been largely hidden and only mine for a little while. I have, historically, been pretty terrible at updating it consistently- there was a period of time where it was a to do to get one update every six months or so on here.

 

I have been keeping it up fairly well lately and, as such, have occasionally trickled little bits of it out here and there. I have cleaned up some of the old miscellany and spruced the place up a bit.

So with the changing nature of things, allow myself to introduce... myself.

My name is Hans.

I am a "middle class" American Caucasian male. Married with child, both of whom I love more than anything.

Sometimes obsessed novice powerlifter.

Work as a production manager for an international provider of documents and document solutions.

Libertarian, gun owner, advocate of responsible and intelligent gun ownership.

No religious affiliation though I do recognize a higher order of things. Probably because I adore order.

I listen to metal.

I like stuff.

I will do my best to bore you, share a few things with you, update you as to stuff about and around me. You will gain tiny insights into things that you would not otherwise gain without reading what is essentially someone's diary.

And occasionally, I might entertain you.
